Spring is a great time of year for cut and come again salads. They grow back quickly after snipping giving a great supply of leaves; the cooler weather and shorter days stops them bolting up into flower as they do in late May and June and they don’t mind any frosty nights. They don’t need to be planted into anything fancy – an old veg box from your local fruit and veg stall will suffice.
