INGREDIENTS
- 4fl oz water
- 1tsp arrowroot
- 3oz sugar
- 2 big handfuls lemon verbena (including stalks)
- Vanilla ice cream
METHOD
- Put the water, arrowroot and sugar together into a pan and heat, whilst stirring until the sugar has dissolved and the liquid thickened.
- Add the lemon verbena – stalks as well- roughly chopped.
- Allow the mixture to cool and then leave for 24 hours before straining.
- Drizzle over vanilla ice cream.
